    Bundle up for the big game & Traeger this quick & easy tailgating side dish. These wood-fired tots are smothered in bacon & cheese & taste great on a cold day.

    • 1 bag frozen tater tots
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
    • 1/2 cup bacon, crumbled
    • 1/4 cup green onions, minced
    • Traeger Veggie Shake or salt and pepper to taste

    Start Traeger on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (about 5 minutes). Preheat Traeger to 375 degrees F, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

     

    Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy clean up and spread frozen tater tots onto sheet.

     

    Sprinkle with Traeger Veggie Shake or salt and pepper to taste.  

     

    Place the baking sheet on the preheated grill grate and cook the tater tots for 10 minutes.

     

    Drizzle sour cream over cooked tater tots.

     

    Sprinkle the cheese, bacon bits and green onions on top of the tater tots.

     

    Turn heat up to High heat and cook for 5 more minutes until the cheese melts and serve immediately. Enjoy!
