- 3 oz Traeger Chipotle Rub
- 12 slices baby Swiss cheese
- 6 oz Salsa
- 12 (2 to 2 1/2 inches) slider buns, toasted
Mix the pork and rub in a bowl. Do not over mix or the slider will be too tightly bound.
Portion the meat into 12 (2-ounce) balls, then flatten the balls into patties about 2 1/2 inches round.
When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 275 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 minutes.
Cook the sliders for 8 minutes on each side.
Move the temperature to High. Once grill reaches over 400 degrees F, cook for 1 additional minute per side.
Add the cheese and cook for another 30 seconds. Remove from Traeger and let rest for 5 minutes.
Toast the slider buns for 1 minute on each side and assemble slider. Top with your favorite salsa. Enjoy!
