    Dress up your skirt steak with our Prime Rib Rub and Carne Asada Marinade for out-of-this-world fajitas or steak sandwiches.

    • 2 lbs Skirt Steak
    • 6 oz Traeger Prime Rib Rub
    • 12 oz Traeger Carne Asada Marinade
    • 2 lbs Skirt Steak
    • 6 oz Traeger Prime Rib Rub
    • 12 oz Traeger Carne Asada Marinade

    Trim any excess fat from the skirt steak and place in a large storage bag. Add Traeger Carne Asada marinade.

    Let marinade in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

    Remove from marinade and season the front and back of the skirt steak with Traeger Prime Rib Rub and rest 30 minutes.

    When ready to cook, start the Traeger on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Close the lid and put the skirt steaks on the grate. After 45 minutes, remove the skirt steak from the grill and move the temperature to High. Allow to preheat 10-15 minutes with the lid closed.

    Once Traeger reaches temperature, grill each side of the steak for 2 minutes or until meat reaches an internal temperature of 135 degrees F for medium rare.

    Let rest 10 minutes and serve. Enjoy!
