Bacon like you've never had it - soaked in Tennessee's pride and joy, dredged in a sweet-savory flour mixture, and baked on the Traeger.

    • 1 lb. Country-Style Bacon
    • 1 cup Tennessee Whiskey, Such as Jack Daniel's, or Apple Juice
    • 1 Tbsp. Traeger Sweet Rub
    • 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
    • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
    • 1 tsp. Black Pepper, Freshly Ground
    • 1 lb. Country-Style Bacon
    • 1 cup Tennessee Whiskey, Such as Jack Daniel's, or Apple Juice
    • 1 Tbsp. Traeger Sweet Rub
    • 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
    • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
    • 1 tsp. Black Pepper, Freshly Ground

Separate the bacon slices and put into a large resealable plastic bag.

Stir the Traeger Sweet Rub, if using, into the whiskey. Pour the whiskey over the bacon, massaging the bag to coat all the slices. Set aside for at least 30 minutes.

On a piece of wax paper, sift together the flour, brown sugar, and black pepper. Transfer to a second resealable plastic bag.

Drain the bacon and add to the flour mixture a few slices at a time. Shake the bag to coat each piece evenly, then arrange in a single layer on the prepared baking pan.

Start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 375F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

Bake the bacon until it is golden brown and crisp, about 20 to 25 minutes.
