We offer a toast to this roast for being so tender. Seasoned simply and glazed with BBQ sauce, dinner just got delicious.
- 3 oz Traeger Sweet Rub
- 1 (3 lb) Beef Sirloin Tip Roast
- 3/4 cup Traeger Chili Sauce, divided
- 3 oz Traeger Sweet Rub
- 1 (3 lb) Beef Sirloin Tip Roast
- 3/4 cup Traeger Chili Sauce, divided
Season Sirloin Tip Roast evenly with Sweet Rub on all sides. Let roast rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 275 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.
Place the roast on the Traeger and cook for about 75 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 130 degrees F.
Once 130 F is reached, brush the roast with 1/4 cup of the Traeger Chili Sauce.
Continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F.
Remove from Traeger and place on a cutting board and tent with foil. Let stand 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.
Slice roast across the grain into thin slices and brush each slice with remaining sauce. Serve, enjoy!
