We’re giving turkey breast the Traeger treatment by roasting it to poultry perfection. Allowing the meat to chill before slicing gives you deli-style meat fit for an artisan sandwich.
- 1 boneless turkey breast
- 1 bottle Big Game Rub
- 1 boneless turkey breast
- 1 bottle Big Game Rub
When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 325 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.
While grill heats up, take turkey breast out of package. Remove the skin. Cover breast evenly with Traeger Big Game Rub.
Place directly on grill grate and grill for one hour and forty five minutes. Check the internal temperature of the turkey, it needs to reach 165 degrees F. If it has not reached the desired temperature, check every 15 minutes until it has.
When it reaches 165 degrees F, pull off the grill and let rest for 1.5 hours to cool. Wrap turkey breast in plastic wrap and place in the fridge.
Let it cool in the fridge for at least 12 hours. Slice it thin to serve. Enjoy!
