Wood-fired smoke, thick cream, & crisp fried onions make this classic Thanksgiving green bean recipe a favorite for all ages.
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 small onion, small diced
- 1/2 cup button mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cans green beans, drained
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tsp bbq seasoning salt
- 1 can french fried onion rings
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 stick butter

When ready to cook, set Traeger to Smoke with the lid open (about 4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 375 degrees F and preheat with the lid closed for 10 to 15 minutes.
Melt butter in a cast iron skillet and add onions and mushrooms stirring occasionally until softened.
Add drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup and stir gently to combine.
Season with seasoning salt and pepper and sprinkle the top with the shredded cheddar cheese and onion rings.
Bake for 25 minutes. Serve warm, enjoy!
