    This traditional baked Italian pasta dish is filled with bacon and sausage in a homemade marinara sauce.

    • 12 oz ziti pasta, cooked al dente
    • 4 oz bacon, diced
    • 1 large onion, chopped
    • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 lb Italian sausage, sliced
    • 1 cup dry red wine
    • 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
    • 1/2 cup fresh basil, firmly packed
    • 1/2 tsp Jacobson Salt
    • 1/2 tsp red pepper, crushed
    • 1 cup ricotta cheese
    • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
    • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated
    • 12 oz ziti pasta, cooked al dente
    • 4 oz bacon, diced
    • 1 large onion, chopped
    • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 lb Italian sausage, sliced
    • 1 cup dry red wine
    • 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
    • 1/2 cup fresh basil, firmly packed
    • 1/2 tsp Jacobson Salt
    • 1/2 tsp red pepper, crushed
    • 1 cup ricotta cheese
    • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
    • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated

    When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 375 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

    Place a large dutchoven pan in grill. When pan is hot, on cook the bacon.

    Add onion and garlic, and sauté for 3 minutes or until onion is tender. Add sausage, and sauté for 5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.

    Add wine, tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.

    Stir in Pasta, ricotta cheese and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on top.

    Close grill and bake pasta for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly. Enjoy!
